Remember how, back in April of this year, everyone kicked off over Kendall Jenner's Pepsi advert and it's properly-poorly-advised protest theme? Well now the star's found herself in trouble again; this time over her latest Adidas campiagn. The girl can't catch a bloody break, can she? Alright, alright; so this isn't quite up there with the Pepsi controversy, but basically fans of the brand aren't happy they're using Kendall in a campaign over athletes. We've kinda seen it all before, what with the likes of her sister Kylie Jenner and Rihanna posing for Puma, but this time the backlash is so strong it's actually left people boybotting the brand. Not hugely ideal.
Frequent adidas Originals collaborator Pharrell has got a new tennis collection coming out at the end of the month, and a beautiful looking shoot for it has just been shared by the German sportswear giant over on Instagram. Featuring bold colour-blocking on a white base, the collection includes jackets, sweaters, shorts, and tops, as well as a range of sport accessories with sweatbands, socks and a towel. There is also a fantastic looking new colourway of the Barricade shoe, the footwear choice of the likes Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic. Available at adidas retailers worldwide on 31 August, take a look at the collection below.
Chelsea have issued Diego Costa with orders to return to London as soon as possible, train, get match-fit and put himself in contention for the first team. This four-point demand is the first hint of a route back into the fold for Costa, even if it locks him on a collision course with manager Antonio Conte. The bond between Conte and Costa was broken by the manager's text in June to inform last season's 20 -goal top scorer he was not part of his plans. Conte claimed the decision was made in January when Costa had been hankering after a move to China and was dropped from the team after a clash with fitness coach Julio Tous. The 28-year-old striker has since decided he would rather return to Atletico Madrid, but the clubs are not close to an agreement.
